The focus is on keeping you strong and mobile in your work, play and daily activities. The sessions are tailored to you and your specific needs and goals. Starting at the appropriate level and intelligently progressing over time so you can see the change and reap the benefits.

ELDOA METHOD

ELDOA METHOD

Developed by world-renowned osteopath Dr. Guy Voyer, ELDOA exercises consist of a series of specific postures aimed at relieving pressure and increasing blood flow around particular joints or spinal segments. This technique is a highly effective way to reduce pain, increase circulation, and improve posture, balance, and spine health. Claire is trained in the ELDOA of the spine Levels 1 & 2. It is often included as part of a PT workout, but we can also tailor an ELDOA specific session.

RunSTRONG CLASSES

The importance of a run-specific strength programme to the endurance runner is something Claire knows a lot about. Especially beyond your 30s, niggles and overuse injuries loom large in this sport!
With over 13 years of run coaching experience and over 25 years of endurance running, particularly on trail and off- road, Claire has a wealth of knowledge in this area.

She also offers running gait observation and feedback.
These two things can be the perfect complement to your run training and enjoyment, especially when trying to build kms or pace or return from injury.

Pricing from $100 for 60mins incl programme

This is a weekly strength and mobility class for runners of all levels.
In partnership with Fleur Walter at Run Space, Claire provides this session to those building their running kms, wanting to become a stronger runner or those returning from injury.

10.30–11.30 am Friday mornings during term time
Pricing: $200/term ($150 concession).
Casual rates available if space permits.

CLAIRE SMITH is a qualified Personal Trainer who has worked in the Auckland CBD for over 14 years; most recently at Loft 45 Gym, and before that, Les Mills Auckland. She also worked with events company, Total Sport for many years. In addition, Claire has over 25 years’ experience as an endurance runner.

Now based in Muriwai, Claire is excited to be able to offer tailored personal training to clients in the Muriwai, Waimauku and Kumeu area from her new studio space.
